Simply Decks & Stuff was the first paid website client ever for Rauch Digital. All the way back in 2004 we collaborated on our first site together, and then launched multiple re-designs and microsites over the next few years. In 2008 I was forced to pass the site off to another developer. So when the opportunity came about to once again collaborate on a new site I was ALL IN!
As we began to look at this site redesign, our primary focus was to create a new foundation for future development and updates. The primary site for Simply Decks & Stuff has always been a platform to share projects with customers, provide examples of what Simply Decks can do, and then offer an opportunity for customers to connect with Simply Decks to start their next project. After creating these basic elements, we dove in to fixing some of the fundamental technical SEO items that were keeping Simply Decks from connecting with even more customers.
Mobile Responsive, brochure website focused on providing brand development, organizational information, photos, service offerings, and more.
Refreshed the user experience (UX) by developing better user interactions (UI) via the website, focusing on key design elements, brand elements, and content refinement.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO)
Resolved all technical SEO elements, such as creating the proper H1, H2-6, p on all text elements, Image Alt Tags, Sitemap submission, Canonical tags for duplicate content, Google Analytics, Google Search Console & executed keyword research.
Since launching the new site in November 2019, site traffic has continued to pick up month over month. Customers have begun flooding the site with requests for decking quotes and questions about other offerings from Simply Decks. The future looks bright for Simply Decks, Fort Wayne’s first Trex Platinum dealer, and Rauch Digital will be there every step of the way to maximize their digital footprint.
